QA Engineer 3 (7/22) - In Office (Austin, TX)Must be a US Citizen or a Green Card HolderNo 3rd Parties Please

I. POSITION OBJECTIVES
1. Test Automation Development

 Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using WebdriverIO or similar frameworks.
Ensure test scripts cover functional, regression, and integration testing needs.
Optimize test scripts for performance and reliability.

2. Manual Testing Support
Execute manual test cases when automation is not feasible or during exploratory testing.
Validate test results and report discrepancies accurately.

3. Test Planning and Execution
Prioritize test scenarios based on risk, impact, and business requirements.
Create and maintain detailed test execution plans.
Track and report test case execution status regularly.

4. Documentation and Reporting
Develop and maintain documentation for automated testing processes and frameworks.
Generate and distribute test execution reports and defect summaries.
Maintain requirements traceability matrices to ensure coverage and compliance.

5. Agile Collaboration
Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
Support development and testing activities across dev, test, UAT, and production environments.

6. Defect Management
Use Jira to log, track, and manage defects.
Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

7. UAT and On-Call Support
Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
Provide on-call support for critical testing phases and production releases.

8. Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve test automation coverage and efficiency.
Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging tools in test automation.
