Here's how a Junior Producer for PCL Construction Enterprises, Inc. within US Head Office contributes to our team:

Responsibilities
  • Works collaboratively with team members to develop a video strategy that aligns with business. 
  • Assists in the production of video and sound projects including concept development, script writing, video shooting and editing. 
  • Supports in the development of visually compelling materials, guided by our corporate brand guidelines, for internal and external advertising, marketing and websites. 
  • Supports in video cuts review with clients/stakeholders/producers and incorporates comments to create a strong product that serves the underlying goals of the production. 
  • Edits video content to turn raw footage into seamless video products under tight deadlines. 
  • Assists in coordinating set, talent/subject, equipment needs, day of schedule, locations, on-site creative direction and quality control of messaging. 
  • Supports in the development of brand visual guidelines. 
  • Adheres to brand guidelines and company standard in all visual creation and video production. 
  • Researches, interviews and collaborates with subject matter experts to assist in creating engaging videos. 
     
Qualifications
  • Postsecondary degree or diploma in film studies or a related discipline. 
  • Co-op/Intern experience preferred. 
  • Working knowledge of the various video communication mediums and platforms. 
  • Assists with production and equipment maintenance scheduling. 
  • Demonstrates storytelling ability with creative script writing and editing. 
  • Demonstrates understanding of foundational design qualities through portfolio. 
  • Experience with lighting equipment and creating different/appropriate lighting and production sets, studio and green screen shoots. Recommends the appropriate light and production needs based on the needs and objectives of the video or audio project. 
  • Knowledge of how to design, implement, produce and manage a live recording event and live streaming with one or multiple sources of audio and cameras. 
  • Experience with sound equipment and knowledge to select appropriate audio equipment to capture quality sound. 
  • Intermediate knowledge in video and audio production in Adobe Creative Cloud and working knowledge in other Adobe CC and specialized software as required.

The estimated salary range for this role is $58,000-$70,000, based on your experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be confirmed as part of a personalized offer.  We anticipate this requisition will be open for a minimum of five days, though it may be open for a longer period of time.
