• Program – C2BMC "Position Responsibilities The X Lab is seeking a versatile Software Developer to strengthen its team in a fast-moving, defense-focused environment. The ideal candidate holds a Secret clearance (Top Secret/SCI preferred) and brings proven expertise in Java and related technologies, with a strong foundation in object-oriented development, web technologies, and automated build pipelines. This role demands adaptability to evolving requirements, innovative problem-solving, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while collaborating across Windows and Unix/Linux platforms. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using the Spring Framework and other OOP principles. Create and enhance web front ends with HTML, XML, and JavaScript, ensuring responsive and secure user experiences. Deploy, integrate, and troubleshoot software solutions on both Windows and Unix/Linux environments. Manage build, version control, and configuration processes using tools such as Eclipse IDE, Maven, Git/GitLab, and Ansible. Author and maintain Bash scripts to automate build and test pipelines, supporting continuous integration and delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicating technical concepts clearly in both verbal and written formats. Adapt quickly to changing project requirements, designing novel solutions to address complex technical challenges. Apply security best practices and adhere to defense industry regulations throughout the software development lifecycle. Provide hands-on Java development support in secure or defense-related projects, leveraging strong Java, HTML, and XML expertise. Basic Qualifications Generally has 3+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline. Other: This position is full-time on-site at the Missile Defense Integration and Operations Center (MDIOC) at Schriever SFB, CO, and is not a remote work position. Non-standard work hours are likely during event execution."
