Role Overview

The Social Media Content Coordinator is responsible for executing and managing day-to-day social media activities across multiple platforms to increase brand awareness, engagement, and audience growth. This role will work closely with Content, Design, and Marketing teams to create compelling social content, maintain publishing calendars, engage with online communities, and monitor social media performance.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about social media trends, content creation, and storytelling.

Core ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Management
  • Execute and maintain the social media content calendar across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.

  • QA, schedule, and publish social media content using approved social management tools.

  • Ensure content is aligned with brand guidelines, campaign objectives, and messaging priorities.

  • Coordinate social media campaigns, promotions, product feature launches, and seasonal initiatives.

Content Creation & Coordination
  • Create engaging social media copy tailored to each platform.

  • Develop basic visual content using templates or custom designs. 

  • Capture and edit simple photo and video content for social channels.

  • Support short-form video production, including scripts, hooks, text overlays, basic editing, and platform-native formatting.

  • Assist in repurposing blog content, podcasts, webinars, PR placements, customer testimonials, and other marketing assets into social media content.

Community Management
  • Monitor social media channels daily and respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely manner.

  • Engage with followers, influencers, partners, and industry communities to increase brand visibility and audience engagement.

  • Escalate customer service issues or brand reputation concerns to appropriate internal teams.

  • Track recurring audience questions, feedback, and objections to inform future content ideas.

Social Listening & Trend Monitoring
  • Monitor industry trends, emerging social media features, viral content, and competitor activity.

  • Identify opportunities to participate in relevant conversations and cultural moments.

  • Recommend new content ideas based on audience interests and platform trends.

Reporting & Analytics
  • Track and report on key social media metrics including reach, engagement, follower growth, video views, and referral traffic.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Content Marketing, Product Marketing, PR, and Design teams to support integrated marketing campaigns.

RequirementsRequired
