Many employers prefer candidates with some healthcare or administrative experience, and some positions may require certification or training programs. The hiring process can be competitive but often depends on the candidate's qualifications and the employer's needs.

Is working as a scribe worth it?

Working as a medical scribe can be beneficial for gaining healthcare experience and developing documentation skills, often involving electronic health record systems. However, it typically offers low pay and requires attention to detail and strong communication skills, making it suitable for those considering a career in healthcare or related fields.

How much can you make as a scribe?

Scribes typically earn between $12 and $20 per hour, depending on experience, location, and the healthcare setting. Some positions may offer higher pay for specialized skills or certifications, and hours can vary based on shift schedules and employer policies.
