What does a screenwriter do?

A screenwriter is responsible for writing scripts for films, television shows, or other visual media. They develop the storyline, characters, dialogue, and the overall narrative structure of a script. Screenwriters may work independently or collaborate with producers, directors, and other writers to bring ideas to life on screen. Their work forms the blueprint for the entire production process, making their role crucial in the entertainment industry.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a screen writer, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Screen Writer, you need a strong grasp of storytelling, screenplay structure, character development, and often a background in creative writing or film studies.
