ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Create detailed screen prints and stencils from specifications, blueprints, and verbal instructions, ensuring close tolerances.
Develop computer artwork, prepare negative and positive films, and resize letters as needed.
Correct and touch up stencils, including freehand lettering, and fabricate screen print frames based on technical documents.
Perform chemical processes to transmit films to screens and mix inks, paints, and thinners for printing.
Maintain logs for tool orders, reworks, and job numbers, and verify part quantities.
Follow supervisor instructions, maintain courteous behavior, and ensure regular attendance.
Perform other assigned duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in screen printing on plastic and/or aluminum parts.
Ability to write routine reports and communicate effectively.
Skills in film development, stenciling, and layout design.
Experience with desktop publishing operations.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High School diploma/GED, or one year certificate from a technical school, or 2-3 years related experience or equivalent.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to perform basic arithmetic and compute rates, ratios, and percentages.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Regular use of hands and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Must have good vision (close, distance, color, and peripheral).

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
Safety glasses required.
Gloves as needed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
