DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Operate computerized to plate (CTP) imaging equipment controlling basic machine parameters.
  • Image photographic anodized aluminum plates using contact printing equipment.
  • Develop and inspect photographic plates.
  • Seal and clean imaged plates.
  • Perform minor maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, and adjustment of photographic plate imaging / developing machinery and plate sealing baths, in accordance with company standards and machine manufacturers recommendations.
  • Function as a press-helper in the screen printing operation by assisting with or performing some or all of the following duties:
  • Pull and prepare materials for the screen printing operation.
  • Screen making, stencil preparation and screen.
  • Inspecting screen printed plates.
  • Preparing or color matching inks for screen printing.
  • Assist with set-up or tear-down of the screen printing presses.
  • May train to become a qualified screen printing operator.

SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED);
  • Previous experience, training or knowledge in photographic print making preferred;
  • Previous experience, training or knowledge in screen printing a plus;
  • Strong PC and Windows software skill;
  • Strong mechanical aptitude a plus;
  • Energetic, team player possessing strong attention to detail;
  • Must be willing and able to follow directions;
  • Safety conscious behavior;
  • Excellent attendance record;
  • Able to perform work tasks both independently and in a team-based environment.

Physical Demands:
Position requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods, must be able to regularly lift or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds, position requires good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination, color vision, and ability to adjust between close and distance vision.
