JOB SUMMARY Under the general supervision of a Speech and Language Pathologist or Program Specialist, the Speech and Language Pathology Assistant will perform services and consultation with teachers at a school site, provide activities designed to develop language skills and articulation skills, including speech production, vocalization and social pragmatics in students with speech/language disorders. Other duties may include administrative work, meetings, and collaborations with staff and parents. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Conduct speech-language screenings using a variety of screening tools and techniques Follow documented therapy plans Support the SLP with contacting families to arrange IEP meetings.
