Job description

Job Responsibilities Trident Technical College's award-winning Marketing department is looking for a part-time print shop operator to run Konica Minolta AccurioPress monochrome and color printers. This position will meet the college's print needs for academic classroom materials, internal promotional materials, and external marketing materials. Print jobs will range from simple handouts to folded color brochures and booklets.

Minimum and Additional Requirements This position requires a high school diploma and experience in producing printed materials. A bachelor's degree in a related field may be substituted for the required work experience. Preferred Qualifications Preferred Candidate Attributes A proficiency with multi-stage color and monochrome digital presses A proficiency with Fiery color management and imposition software A solid understanding of paper types, sizes, finishes and weights The ability to run a large paper cutter and optimize printing to maximize paper use The ability to stand, bend and carry items weighing 50 pounds or less.

Must be able to twist, stoop, bend, reach, lift and pull The ability to keep accurate records in a spreadsheet program and make regular reports The ability to clearly communicate in person and in writing, and both give and take constructive feedback in a professional manner Able to work under pressure, prioritize work assignments, and accommodate tight deadlines An organized problem solver willing to help resolve printing related issues for the college Experience with Konica Minolta presses is a plus, but not required
