Location: 9105 Cody St, Overland Park, KS, 66209

Summary: Operates an automatic screen print press with the purpose of screen-printing single color and multi color designs on an assortment of garments by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities:
  • Reads work order to determine type and location of screen print.
  • Sets up and registers screens in screen print press.
  • Selects hardness of squeegee for proper ink deposit.
  • Verifies and loads the correct ink into the correct corresponding screen.
  • Adjust amp; regulates flood bar and squeegee speed and pressure.
  • Verifies correct board type and size based on art location and garment type and size.
  • Performs test print and receives approval from customer service, art department, or supervisor.
  • Loads and unloads garments insuring correct art placement and straightness.
  • Repairs salvageable garments due to missing ink or out of registration.
  • Inspects prints during operation, eliminating pin holes, streaks, or ink contamination.
  • Other duties assigned.​
Work Environment:
  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Preferred but not required; Experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and work orders.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Employee must lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 35 lbs.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus.
  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, or crouch.
