Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces (steel, aluminum, etc.) for powder coating by scraping, sanding, priming, masking or sealing as required to ensure proper powder adhesion.
  • Apply powder paint to various parts of shelters or prototype components as directed
  • Perform touch-ups on finished parts as needed
  • Handle materials by loading and unloading parts, hanging and removing items from lines, and organizing finished products.
  • Clean and maintain all equipment and work areas
  • Utilize spray guns for larger projects
  • Conduct quality checks and count parts to ensure accuracy
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
