Le poste
En tant que membre essentiel de notre equipe de cuisine, le ou la plongeur(euse) contribue au bon fonctionnement des operations en maintenant les plus hauts standards de proprete, d'hygiene et d'organisation. Nos plongeurs(euses) offrent un soutien indispensable a l'equipe en :
- Assurant la proprete et la salubrite de la plonge et de la cuisine;
- Utilisant efficacement les equipements de lavage de vaisselle;
- Veillant a ce que toute la vaisselle, les ustensiles et le materiel de preparation soient propres, desinfectes et prets a l'utilisation;
- Raclant et rincant la vaisselle avant son passage dans le lave-vaisselle;
- Rangeant la vaisselle, les assiettes, les verres et les autres articles selon leur type afin d'eviter les bris;
- Triant et entreposant correctement tout le materiel de cuisine dans les espaces prevus;
- Gardant la zone de plonge propre et securitaire, notamment en nettoyant les postes de travail, les drains et les equipements a la fin de chaque quart de travail;
- Effectuant des projets de nettoyage speciaux dans les differentes aires de la cuisine, selon les besoins;
- Faisant preuve d'une bonne communication avec les membres de l'equipe et les clients.

The Position
As an important part of the cafe team, our Dishwashers are friendly and attentive professionals who strive to delight our members and guests by:
Maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation in the dish room and kitchen
Operating all ware-washing machinery
Ensuring that all food service and preparation ware is clean and sanitized
Scraping and spraying all food service ware before it enters the ware-washing machine
Racking all china and glassware properly according to type and size to avoid breakage
Separating all food service ware and store properly in designated areas
Keeping ware-washing area clean and safe; clean work area, drains and machinery at end of shift
Performing special cleaning projects in kitchen areas as assigned
Displaying good communication skills when interacting with associates and guests
