Job description

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our team as a Non-Ferrous Scale Operator/Scrap Yard Laborer.


The primary focus of this position will be working at our non ferrous scale, where you will assist customers, load and unload trucks, sort and grade different types of scrap metal, prepare material for shipment, maintain a safe organized work area, weigh material, and accurately process purchases. This is also a hands on position, so you will be expected to help with general yard duties whenever needed.

Scrap metal experience is not required. We are willing to teach metal identification and grading to someone who is dependable, motivated, and willing to learn.


This isn't just a general labor job. The person in this position will become an important part of our customer-facing operation. You'll learn the scrap metal business, how different metals are identified and valued, and how a recycling yard operates from the buying scale to processing.
