An overview of your mandates andresponsibilities

  • Serve as a technical reference in industrial automation safety
  • Identify, analyze and mitigate industrial risks associated with the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of automated equipment
  • Carry out onsite risk assessments that reflect actual machine use and operational behaviours
  • Support operations teams in managing changes that impact safety
  • Establish client needs, project scope and proposals
  • Assign and review work by intermediate and junior engineers, technicians and drafters assigned to the project and assess technical scope
  • Develop, maintain and improve internal standards and best practices
  • Train and support operators, technicians and supervisors on safety aspects related to automated systems
  • Take on project manager responsibilities by ensuring quality, budget control and timelines in line with the mandate
