We are seeking askilledSr.DataScientistto joinRichmond National Insurance Company. AsaDataScientist, you willwork closely with theDirector of Data & Innovationoverseeing the design, development, and maintenance of ourdataproductsbyensuring theiravailability, reliability, and scalability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, includingbusinessstakeholders,dataengineers,businessanalysts, and software engineers, to develop innovative data solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities

DataScienceInfrastructure:Contribute to buildingand maintainingrobustand scalableclouddatascienceinfrastructure, includingMLOps,buildingmachine learningpipelinesto supporttraining, validation and monitoring ofmodels.

ModelDevelopment: Developcustom MLmodels, deep learning models, algorithms, and fine tune foundational models.

Performance Optimization:Implement processes and tools tomonitor the performance and accuracy of modelstrained.

Data Security: Collaborate with thedataand IT leadershipteam to implement data privacy and security measures, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.

Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understandtheorganizationโ€™sneeds and deliverbusinesssolutions,leveraging company data tosupporttheirrequirements.

Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies,algorithms,and best practices in datascience.Proactively introduce new tools and techniques to improve processes and efficiencywhile developing and maintaining the models.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation ofML/AIpipelines, workflows, andalgorithms, ensuring clear documentation for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications
  • Provenexperience (5+years) as aData Scientist, Data Analyst, Data Engineer or similar role, preferably in the insuranceor financialindustry or a similar domain, with at least 3 years as a Data Scientist.
  • Strong experience inmachine learning, statisticalmodeling,and artificial intelligence.
  • Strong data analytical skillsusing SQL, Python, Excel etc.
  • Experience in usingLanguage Models,NLP models, Vision Language Models for various textunderstandingand documentunderstanding use cases.
  • Good understandingofdata modeling, ETL development, and data integration techniques.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python,Java, or Scala, and experience with SQL and database technologies.
  • Experience in AWS ML/AI services and tools such asSagemaker, Bedrock.
  • Strong experiencewith data visualization tools and techniques.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellentanalytical,problem-solving skills andstrongattention to detail.
Compensation

At the time of posting, the expected base salary range for this role is $120,000-$130,000annually. Additionally, this position is eligible for participation in our annual bonus program. Actual compensation will be determined by many factors, including but not limited to, location, education, certifications, qualifications, relevant experience, internal equity, business need, and any applicable minimum wage requirements.
