Our client, a world leader in biotechnology and life sciences, is looking for a Associate Scientist based out of San Diego, CA.

Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension)

Pay Rate: $46/hr on W2

Job Summary

This role is to support analytical development and characterization activities for CAR-T cell therapy products. The ideal candidate will have handsโ€‘on experience in immunology, cellโ€‘based assays, flow cytometry, and cell culture within a biotech or cell therapy environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform cell-based assays and product characterization studies
  • Support assay development, optimization, qualification, and validation
  • Conduct flow cytometry, ELISA/Luminex, and T-cell functional assays
  • Support GMP release testing and QC assay transfers
  • Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and write SOPs/reports
  • Analyze and present scientific data to cross-functional teams
  • Support cell culture processes and analytical testing activities
Requirements
  • BS/MS in Biology, Immunology, Cell Biology, or related field
  • 5+ years of biotech or relevant laboratory experienceHandsโ€‘on experience with flow cytometry, immunoassays, and cell culture
  • Experience with T-cell biology and cellโ€‘based assays
Preferred
  • CARโ€‘T or cell therapy industry experience
  • Experience with ELISA, Luminex, qPCR, or ddPCR
  • Exposure to GMP/QC environments and assay transfer activities
  • Experience drafting SOPs and supporting assay validation/DoE studies
