Description * Conducting detailed analyses of operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for performance improvements * Developing and applying mathematical models and statistical techniques to evaluate decision alternatives and optimize resource allocation * Preparing comprehensive reports and technical documentation that summarize analytical findings and support strategic planning initiatives * Collaborating with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to validate analytical models and ensure alignment with organizational objectives * Monitoring key performance indicators and implementing corrective actions to maintain compliance with contractual and DoD standards FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING #LI-TF1 Requirements * Five or more years of experience in an operations research analyst role * Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering discipline, computer science or IT discipline, or technical discipline * Demonstrated ability to apply quantitative and qualitative analytical methods to evaluate operational performance and identify efficiency improvements in line with DoD requirements * Proficient in using statistical and optimization software tools to model complex systems, perform sensitivity analyses, and support decision-making processes * Skilled in developing detailed analytical reports and presentations that translate data insights into actionable recommendations * Possess an active DoD Secret security clearance Desired Skills * Familiarity with advanced analytical tools such as MATLAB, R, or Python for data mining and simulation to enhance research outcomes * Experience with operations research methodologies (e.g., linear programming, decision analysis, and simulation modeling) to optimize system processes * Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders * Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, analytical environment Clearance Information SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S.
