Job description

Job Summary:
Solugen is dedicated to decarbonizing chemical manufacturing and onshoring critical supply chains. They are seeking an Offshore Product Commercialization Manager to transition lab-developed products to scale for offshore and deepwater business, managing the growth and operation of offshore laboratories while collaborating with various teams to ensure efficient project execution.
Responsibilities:
• Develop strategies to maintain and manage the product portfolio and define and develop technologies to fill gaps
• Works with other teams in Solugen to provide consultative direction for new product development
• Provides support to the VP of Technology and Innovation to improve the IP position of the company through the identification of patentable technology
• Supports the development of the company’s training and competency associated with offshore and deepwater technologies
• Support key customer initiatives
• Works directly with Product Management to produce sales materials for flow assurance products and services
• Works directly with Operations to ensure products are commercialized to scale appropriately
• Ensures appropriate utilization, development, and maintenance of laboratory space and laboratory equipment including responsibility for continual expansion of capabilities
• Supports the technology team of offshore and deepwater experts, chemists and technicians to provide the right level of laboratory space and equipment
• Liaises with third party laboratory service providers to ensure good relationships and timely delivery of data and support
• Meetings with customers, conferences and/or JIPs to support the business and improve the industry’s perception of Solugen
• Primary contact for product commercialization and laboratory troubleshooting activities
• Supports the preparation of quality technical reports for submission to customers
• Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills with the ability to produce clear and concise written work.
• Deep familiarity with laboratory best practices in terms of safety and quality.
• Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and highly reliable in managing multiple simultaneous tasks.
• Full commitment to health and safety as well as specific laboratory and field safety.

• Knowledge of integrity management, flow assurance, and fluid separation technology/chemistry, formulating, global markets, and customer requirements
• Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills with the ability to produce clear and concise written work.
• Deep familiarity with laboratory best practices in terms of safety and quality.
• Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and highly reliable in managing multiple simultaneous tasks.
