Job description

ABOUT DEGREE WELLNESS 

Degree Wellness is a first-of-its-kind wellness studio opening this summer in Avon CT behind the Whole Foods. We offer IV therapy, injectables, and science-backed wellness memberships in a modern, uplifting environment. Our team is the brand — and we hire for energy, positivity, and a genuine love of helping people. 

THE ROLE 

As a Wellness Sales Associate, you're the first and last impression every member has. You'll run the front desk, build real relationships with members, sell memberships and services, and keep the studio looking and feeling exceptional. No clinical background required — just great people skills and a drive to sell. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO 

  • Welcome every guest with warmth and enthusiasm — make them feel like a VIP from the moment they walk in 
  • Present and sell Degree Wellness memberships and services with confidence and a consultative approach 
  • Manage appointment bookings, phone inquiries, and checkout transactions using our POS system 
  • Reset and clean service rooms between appointments; maintain a spotless, welcoming studio environment 
  • Support member retention through follow-up outreach and personalized service 
  • Collaborate with your team to hit daily and weekly sales goals 
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures as scheduled 

WHAT YOU BRING 

  • 6+ months of customer-facing experience in retail, sales, fitness, or hospitality 
  • Sales-minded and motivated by hitting goals 
  • Tech-comfortable with scheduling software, phones, and POS systems 
  • Upbeat, enthusiastic energy that lifts the room 
  • Availability for evenings and/or weekends (required) 
  • Interest in wellness, fitness, or beauty a plus

SCHEDULE

Part-time, 15–24 hours/week. Multiple shift windows available including mornings (8AM–1 PM), afternoons (12–7 PM), evenings (2–7:15 PM), and weekends (9:45 AM–5:15 PM). Ideal for someone with consistent availability across at least 3 shifts per week. Evening and weekend availability is required.
