What You Will Do:
The Manufacturing Engineering organization is seeking a motivated Sr. Test & Validation Engineer to support the Raytheon Forest Consolidated Manufacturing Center (CMC).
As a Sr. Test & Validation Engineer, you'll work within production operations and the manufacturing discipline and will partner with a multi-disciplined team of engineers to support electronics test and evaluate test processes, special test equipment, data analysis tools and test requirements.

Your responsibilities may also include:
  • Developing and maintaining Test Procedures
  • Working with RF systems (circuits and test equipment)
  • Analyzing test data and / or determining if hardware meets specification
  • Maintaining related STE (Special Test Equipment) and specifying replacement equipment when required (obsolescence)
  • Transforming complex information and data into clear, concise and visually engaging slides
  • Training technicians to use Test Procedures and providing written directions for troubleshooting instruction
  • Training entry level Test Engineers on test process

Some travel may be required (typically less than 10%)
This job is posted as ONSITE and is located at Raytheon's Forest, MS facility.
Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically Requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Root cause analysis and / or resolution of test failures (hardware and test environment)

Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science / Computer Engineering
  • Experience diagnosing and isolating technical issues with test equipment and production hardware
  • Experience interpreting product specifications and requirements
  • Experience with use of optical fiber in communication systems
  • Experience with modern Automated Test Systems for electronics
  • Experience performing analysis of technical data
  • Experience with RF circuits and test equipment

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
