Join our dynamic team at Roe Automotive, a leading automotive service provider in Zion, IL. We're committed to delivering high-quality service and customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities:

Develop cost estimates, log needed parts, and calculate time needed for repairs.

Schedule appropriate Service Technicians for each job.

Communicate costs, parts, work details, and technician information to customers.

Arrange customer appointments through phone calls.

Meet customers to understand their requirements and communicate these to the Service Technicians.

Contact customers for additional work, detailing the nature and extra costs involved.

Enter repair job details into the company's network and prepare repair instructions.


Requirements and Skills:

Proven work experience as a Service Writer or in a similar role.

Proficient in computer literacy and office software programs.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Strong record-keeping abilities.

Capable of understanding and translating technical issues from customers' non-technical descriptions.

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
