San Francisco High School of the Arts (HSArts) is seeking an enthusiastic Science Teacher & Science Olympiad Coach to join our growing school community.
We are looking for someone who believes that science is more than a subjectit is a way of thinking. The ideal candidate loves working with students, enjoys hands-on learning, and can spark curiosity through experiments, projects, discussions, and real-world applications.
What You'll Do
Teach Science
  • Create engaging and meaningful science lessons for middle and/or high school students.
  • Encourage students to ask questions, think critically, and develop a lifelong love of learning.
  • Incorporate hands-on experiments, demonstrations, engineering challenges, and scientific inquiry.
  • Help students see connections between science and the world around them.
Coach Science Olympiad
  • Inspire and mentor students who are passionate about science.
  • Prepare students for Science Olympiad competitions through exciting challenges and team-based learning.
  • Foster teamwork, perseverance, creativity, and scientific problem-solving.
  • Help students discover the joy of scientific exploration and achievement.
