Job description

Description

The RBT will provide direct one-on-one therapy to teach communication, social, and daily living skills, while reducing problematic behaviors in the home, community, and school settings in a center-based environment. The RBT will utilize interventions developed out of the science of Applied Behavior Analysis and will work under the close supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).  

Requirements

RBT Certification (training is available)

High school diploma or GED (Some college preferred, but not required)

Experience working with the autism population (preferred) or with children 

Enjoy working with children

Engaging and high energy

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Must pass a background check

Strong organization skills and excellent time management

Must immediately apply feedback

Professional appearance

Must be able to lift at least 50lbs

Must be able to engage in physical activity throughout an 8hr shift
