Job description

Description:                    Middle School Math Teacher

Qualifications:                Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with Middle School Math Endorsement

                                          Candidates should possess a working knowledge of Math and instructional techniques, along with a sound foundation in accepted behavioral management practices.  Proven ability to work in a 

                                             collaborate atmosphere as part of an instructional team is desirable.  District 16 is seeking creative, productive teachers who will assist in maintaining the excellent educational program currently 

                                              offered and who will contribute to our ongoing objective of continuing improvement of services.
 

Working Conditions:      PreK-Grade 8  Public School District in DuPage County. 

                                           Salary and benefits are regionally competitive. 

Expectations:                   Must be prepared to work collaboratively within a team structure; will work with and understand the school community; must be committed to the school improvement process and implement 

                                              a working knowledge of accepted educational "Best Practices" with particular emphasis on Math, Common Core Standards, and English as a Second Language.
