As an LCSW, you will have a diverse array of responsibilities that encompass the following:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of students, creating individualized treatment plans based on findings and best practices.
• Implementing various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to the specific needs of your clients to facilitate positive changes.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of clinical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.
• Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychologists and psychiatrists, to coordinate care and offer comprehensive support to our clients.
• Engaging in regular case consultations and peer reviews to enhance the quality of care provided, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Educating clients and their families on mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources available to them.
• Staying updated with current mental health research and integrating new evidence into your practice to continually refine your approaches.
• Managing a full caseload efficiently while ensuring that treatment goals are met in an effective and timely manner, thus contributing to improved patient outcomes.

You will be serving a diverse patient population ranging from children to adolescents dealing with various mental health challenges. This includes anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and emotional difficulties that affect their academic and personal lives. Your role is critical in creating a safe space where students feel heard and supported, encouraging their social and emotional growth.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Florida.
• A minimum of three years of relevant experience in a clinical setting, focused on psychotherapy.
• Proficient in solution-based therapeutic interventions and techniques.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills needed to build trusting relationships with clients and family members.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex mental health issues.

• Experience working specifically in a school setting is highly desirable.
