Wieland is hiring a Warehouse Helper. The Warehouse Helper will be responsible to assist the Slitter Operator by supplying the material to the machine. Also, the Helper assists in the operation and packaging of the product in a safe manner. This role is located in Warwick, RI and will be fully on-site.

Starting Pay: $22.05 per hour

Schedule: 1st shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm

Pay Schedule: Weekly

Responsibilities

Warehouse Helper Responsibilities:

  • Supply material to the machine
  • Assist with the Set-up
  • Assist with changing equipment on the machine
  • Collect the proper packing supplies
  • Assist the Slitter Operator when necessary
  • Prepare the skid and packaging supplies for the respective order
  • Help Slitter Operator remove coils from the machine
  • Band the coils
  • Put the coils on the skid(s) and pack for shipment

Warehouse Helper Qualifications:

  • High School or GED preferred
  • Some knowledge of metals would be helpful but is not needed.
  • Must be able to read and understand English and be able to lift 50 pounds.
