Job description

Driver needed for school food service program in the Piscataway, NJ area. Monday through Friday, day shift, 6 to 7 hours daily, no weekends or holidays. Summers off!
Must be reliable and motivated. This role is responsible for delivering food and supplies to local schools and assisting with food service tasks as needed. The idea applicant is dependable, flexible, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, team- oriented environment.
Must be able to obtain proper documentation to work in schools, and submit to a tuberculosis test.
Duties to included:
  • Deliver food supplies and satellite lunches to designated school sites daily.
  • Transport catering orders as scheduled.
  • Assist as a Food Service Worker when needed. Washing dishes, putting away food and supply orders, cleaning, breaking down boxes, etc.
  • Cleaning counters and work areas.

Qualifications:
  • Valid drivers license with clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift and carry food and supply items up to 50lbs.
  • Willingness to assist with general food service duties.
  • Reliable, Punctual, and able to work independently.
  • Previous food service or delivery experience preferred, but not required.

Work Environment:
This position involves driving, stocking, and cleaning.
