School Bus Dispatcher / Driver / Charter Coordinator
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day Shift
Pay: $55,000.00

Position Overview
Harlow's School Bus Services is seeking a motivated, organized, and dependable Dispatcher / Driver / Charter Coordinator to join our transportation team. This is a dynamic position that combines dispatching, school bus driving as needed, and coordinating charter and activity trips. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, solving problems, and making a difference in student transportation, we'd love to hear from you!
Essential Responsibilities
Dispatcher
  • Coordinate daily school bus routes and driver assignments.
  • Respond to driver, school, and parent concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers using radio and phone systems.
  • Assist with emergency situations and transportation changes.

School Bus Driver
  • Safely transport students to and from school and school-related activities.
  • Follow all company policies, state regulations, and safety procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, parents, and school staff.

Charter Coordinator
  • Schedule charter and activity trips for schools and community groups.
  • Confirm transportation details with customers.
  • Coordinate vehicle and driver availability for charter services.
  • Ensure trip paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and school personnel.

Qualifications
  • CDL with Passenger and School Bus endorsements preferred (or willingness to obtain with paid training).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
