Job description

Jump Ahead Pediatrics is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team for a full-time, school-based position in Woolwich Township, New Jersey. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a child’s educational and developmental journey in a supportive school environment.

Position Details:

  • Setting: School-Based Services
  • Placement: Exclusive school assignment, Middle/HS
  • Pay Rate: $28–$31 per hour
  • Hours: 7:30 am - 2:30 pm, M - F
  • Compensation: Paid for the full school day, including lunch

Requirements:

  • Active RBT certification
  • Previous experience working in a school setting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) for students with autism and other developmental disabilities
  • Collect, record, and maintain accurate data on student behavior and progress
  • Provide one-on-one support in the classroom and during school activities
  • Assist students with academic tasks and the development of social skills
  • Direct 1:1 Support: Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and individualized goals developed by the BCBA across all educational settings, including General Education, In-Class Resource (ICR), Pull-Out Resource, and the S.T.E.P. program.
  • Data Collection: Accurately collect real-time behavioral data (e.g., frequency, duration, interval, and ABC data) as directed by the BCBA.
  • Toileting & Personal Care: Assist assigned students with personal hygiene, scheduled toileting protocols, and independence training in accordance with their IEPs.
  • Skill Acquisition & Prompting: Utilize least-to-most prompting strategies to support academic work, functional communication, and peer interactions during SMART Lunch, electives, physical education, and other school activities.
  • De-escalation & Safety: Implement approved behavioral intervention strategies to maintain a safe learning environment for the student and others.
