School armed security guards are trained professionals responsible for maintaining safety and security on school campuses. They are authorized to carry firearms and are typically tasked with preventing and responding to threats such as unauthorized intruders, violence, or emergencies. In addition to their security duties, they may also help enforce school rules, monitor surveillance systems, and build positive relationships with students and staff. Their presence aims to deter potential threats and provide a rapid response in case of incidents, contributing to a safer learning environment.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a school armed security guard?

To thrive as a School Armed Security Guard, you need strong situational awareness, knowledge of security protocols, and appropriate licensure or certification, often with a background in law enforcement or the military.
