Job Responsibilities

• Craft Tailored Therapy Plans: Assess patients' individual needs and devise personalized treatment strategies that help them realize their functional goals.
• Implement Therapeutic Strategies: Apply evidence-based techniques to improve patients' motor coordination, cognitive functions, and daily living capabilities.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work in tandem with a variety of health professionals including OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide integrated and comprehensive care.
• Guide Patients and Families: Equip patients and their caregivers with knowledge about therapy methodologies to promote continued progress at home.
• Evaluate and Record Patient Progress: Diligently monitor clinical outcomes and update treatment plans as needed, ensuring patients remain on target with their recovery journey.

Education

• Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Encouragement for ongoing education or advanced certifications.

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license mandatory.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required.

Skills

• A strong passion for aiding individuals in achieving optimal independence.
• Exemplary communication skills, demonstrating empathy with both patients and coworkers.
