Kenner, LA | Industrial & Commercial Access Solutions
About the Role
Sky Climber Access Solutions is seeking experienced Scaffold Builders to support commercial and industrial projects throughout the Kenner, LA area. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in safe, efficient field execution and have experience working with suspended and supported scaffolding systems.
Scaffold Builders play a critical role in supporting customer job sites through the assembly, installation, dismantling, and transportation of scaffolding and access equipment. Candidates should be comfortable working in physically demanding environments and at elevated heights while maintaining strong safety and teamwork standards.
What You'll Do
  • Carry, install, and erect suspended and supported scaffolding systems on customer job sites
  • Load and unload trucks and materials within warehouse and field environments
  • Assist with hoist assembly, platform setup, and dismantling operations
  • Handle electrical cords, wire ropes, and rigging components safely and efficiently
  • Perform deliveries, including loading and unloading equipment from flatbed trucks
  • Work closely with crews to safely erect and dismantle multiple scaffold systems
  • Complete daily job site paperwork and required internal documentation
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
  • Follow OSHA standards and all company safety procedures while performing work
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience building various types of scaffolding systems
  • Extensive experience erecting swing stage and supported scaffolds preferred
  • Good working knowledge of OSHA scaffolding regulations and safety practices
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in fast-paced field environments
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety procedures

Physical & Work Environment Requirements
  • Must not be afraid of heights
  • Ability to carry two 50 lb. weights simultaneously
  • Comfortable performing physical labor requiring frequent climbing of ladders and stairs
  • Ability to work safely at elevated heights throughout the workday
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and job site conditions

Schedule & Employment Conditions
  • Full-time hourly non-exempt position
  • Typical schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (hours may vary based on workload)
  • Pre-employment drug screening required

  • MVR check required
