Job description


1. Communicates with others to perform tasks.
2. Selects proper size and type of Scaffold materials according to the project specifications and dimensions.
3. Plans the installation to avoid obstructions and to avoid interfering with activities of the other workers.
4. Erect stationary, mobile and suspended scaffolds safely and in compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies and requirements. Inspect and maintain installed scaffolds, repair and replace materials and components as required.
5. Erects scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level.
6. Loads, transports, unloads materials, tools, equipment, and supplies.
7. Assists in lifting, positioning, and securing of materials and work pieces during installation.
8. Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
9. Restocks supplies and materials as necessary.
10. Must be able to safely traverse uneven terrain with tools and building materials.
11. Must be able to climb vertical ladders and work above/below ground as necessary.
12. Performs a variety of tasks involving safe dexterous use of hand tools.
13. Safely operates power tools and equipment.
14. Adheres to all safety procedures.
15. Typically requires a minimum of 48 months of industrial construction experience.
