Job description

Responsibilities
Peraton seeks an Operational Technology (OT) Operations Assessment Coordinator to support PACOM J6 establish the organizational foundation for ICS/SCADA-focused cybersecurity assessments across the PACOM AOR.
Location: Fort Meade (Annapolis Junction), MD
Primary responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and integrate the OT Pilot Team's workflows with the DCDC DRSI workflows
  • Support the OT Pilot team's development of OT-specific assessment and inspection criteria
  • Ensure coordination for the conduct of numerous assessments across the PACOM AOR
  • Coordinate operations, POCs, expectations, and logistics with stakeholders ahead of OT assessments
  • Coordinate with other engineering teams to maintain system integrity
  • Provide any required documents to the assessment team for site reports

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD, Will consider HS+12 years of experience
  • Knowledgeable of OT cybersecurity best practices, threat landscape, and mitigation strategies in SCADA, PLC, HMI, DCS, and other industrial automation systems
  • Understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, Spanning Tree, etc.), network design principles, knowledgeable of SCADA system architecture and operation, and familiarity with protocols commonly used in industrial environments (Modbus, Profibus, DNP 3, etc.).
  • OT/ICS experience/expertise
  • U.S Citizenship required
  • Active TS with ability to obtain/maintain SCI

Preferred Qualifications:
  • IAT Level II certification
  • CSSP-Analyst certification
  • SANS GICSP/ GRID or CISSP

Target Salary Range
$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
