Overview

We are currently looking for a SCADA Engineer with 5-12 years of experience to join our team. You will be involved in a multidisciplinary team in the realization of projects ranging from feasibility studies to detailed design, construction, testing, and commissioning support.

Responsibilities
  • Design and integrate SCADA, controllers, and HMI solutions for clients.
  • Support the Project Manager by providing timely, precise, and thorough service.
  • Develop automation and SCADA designs from concept to implementation for Transmission, Distribution, and Renewables.
  • Assess cybersecurity requirements and provide input to meet client policies and processes.
  • Prepare panel layouts, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Perform design work in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code and client standards.
  • Program automation, HMI, PLC, IEDs, meters, and RTU devices.
  • Conduct site visits and provide commissioning support.
  • Serve as the Professional on Record for IFC drawings and associated design packages as required.
About You
  • Must be registered or eligible to register with EGBC.
  • Experience with automation/SCADA design in British Columbia is beneficial but not required.
  • Previous design work in T&D or generation sector is beneficial but not required.
  • Familiarity with typical electrical designs for power systems, protection & control, controllers, communications, networking, and IT is an asset.
