Are you organized, deadline-driven, and dedicated to delivering a smooth experience for borrowers and partners?
As an SBA Loan Closer, you will prepare SBA forms and loan closing documents for submission, ensuring compliance with SBA SOP policies. You'll work closely with loan officers, borrowers, and external parties to successfully process loans from approval to closing.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective collaboration are essential for success in this role.
The Opportunity: We are seeking a full-time SBA Loan Closer to join our team in Florida or Michigan.
What You'll Do:
  • Review assigned loan files and obtain required information for closing.
  • Input and maintain files in SBA core processing system.
  • Prepare and review SBA Authorization for accuracy and SOP compliance; ensure terms and conditions correspond with approval documentation.
  • Coordinate closing with attorneys, borrowers, etc., understanding each party's responsibility and procedures, inclusive of title insurance (exceptions, endorsements, etc.).
  • Participate in loan closing and disburse loan proceeds to comply with SBA SOP.
  • Complete initial audit of loan file and coordinate transfer to loan operations for booking.
  • Maintain knowledge of SBA principles, procedures, compliance requirements and policies.

What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or finance, or equivalent work experience.
  • Three years SBA loan closing experience.
  • Three years loan documentation experience.
  • Organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities and make decisions under time constraints.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to initiate and embrace change.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication, and ability to work in a team environment.
