Job Description: Commercial Camera and Access Control Service Technician and Installers
 
 
Supervisor: Service Manager
 
 
Position Summary:

Commercial Only Service or Installation of IP based Cloud and on-premises Camera Systems, Access Control Systems, Burglar Alarm Systems. Primary brands include Avigilon, Verkada, Honeywell, and DMP.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Commercial Service and Installation of IP Camera Systems, Access Control and Burglar Alarm Systems.
·         Repair equipment utilizing knowledge of electronics and using standard test instruments and hand tools.
·         Use solid troubleshooting skills to isolate and fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software.
·         Consult with AT&I technical support personnel to resolve unusual problems in system operation, maintenance, and warranty work.
·         Complete accurate and detailed service reports for customers and AT&I promptly to allow for accurate invoicing and job cost tracking.
·         Acts as our customers' best service provider to ensure that AT&I Systems is the customers' first choice for service.
·         Executes all service calls in accordance with Federal, State, and local regulations as well as company health and safety policies and procedures 
·         May advise management regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, installation techniques, and standards as well as suggestions for product improvements.
 

 

 

 

 

Knowledge and Skills

·         3+ years servicing Commercial Security Cameras and Access Control Systems preferred.
·         High School diploma required; Military training in electronics or Technical School certification is preferred.
·         Solid technical skills and experience servicing/installing security cameras, access controls, and alarm systems.
·         Experience with Avigilon, Verkada, Honeywell and DMP is a plus.
·         Ability to maintain awareness of and seek to meet the needs and wants of the customer without being prompted.
·         To be a self-starter and work well with minimal supervision.
·         Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude (e.g. works with a variety of hand and power tools such as a drill, screwdriver, wire stripper, hacksaw, crimper).
·         A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
·         Ability to travel locally to job sites regularly.
