Job description

Job Summary

The Senior Clinical Data Analyst independently executes assigned clinical studies activities, applying comprehensive scientific knowledge to clinical data collection, management, quality assessment, analysis support, and documentation. This fully qualified professional-level position independently manages complex clinical imaging datasets, develops and optimizes data collection and processing workflows ensuring data integrity and process efficiency.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Executes assigned components of clinical studies independently managing assigned activities from planning through completion.

  • Manages the collection, maintenance, and quality of medical imaging data and associated clinical information from multiple clinical sites, ensuring data integrity and completeness.

  • Develops and implements image collection procedures and protocols in accordance with SOPs, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), FDA regulations, HIPAA, and other applicable requirements.

  • Collaborates with radiologists and cross-functional teams to establish and maintain ground truth standards for clinical imaging studies.

  • Assesses image data for quality and protocol compliance, resolves discrepancies, and maintains accurate image databases and tracking systems.

  • Support data analysis and contributes to interpretation of study results

  • Develops study documentation, technical reports, and scientific materials independently

  • Builds productive working relationships with internal teams and collaborates cross-functionally

  • Provides regular status updates on data collection activities and identifies opportunities to improve data collection, processing, and operational workflows.

  • Ensures compliance with regulatory, data privacy, and ethical standards

  • Works independently on assigned problems, applying sound scientific judgment and evaluation

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience

  • BS degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or a Master2 local language placeholder

  • Knowledge of clinical research principles and data analysis

  • Proficiency in scientific computing, data analysis tools, and programming

  • Strong attention to detail, documentation and communication skills

  • Understanding of statistical methods and their application

  • Experience working with real-world healthcare data, preferably imaging (dicom) data

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks to completion

Travel

This position requires domestic / international travel up to 10%.

Physical Demands

This position often requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching with hands and arms, using hands and fingers, handling, or feeling, speaking, listening, and high-level cognitive thinking. Also, must be able to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally.

Salary is from $94,000 to $128,000 dependant upon experience.
