Job Description

The CSP Sarepta facility is seeking an Electrician for evening shift.

This position will be responsible for providing technical support in maintaining "State of the Art" electronic controls in the facility. Maintain/Upgrade electronic controls whenever necessary.

GENERAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of electrical and electronic controls on all plant equipment. Assist in upgrading electrical equipment and electronic controls. Develop control wiring schematics/maintain files. PLC Programming. Review product improvement ideas and recommend action to implement them. Assist in determining spare parts requirements. Provide machine design (electrical) proposals. Maintain all electrical upgrades on software and in hard copy in an orderly manner.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

A.S. degree in electrical/electronics field or equivalent (3 years) in training and experience. Knowledge of basic machine design and setup. Minimum of 3 years experience in electrical/electronic troubleshooting. Good communication skills both written and verbal. Knowledge of PLCs and PLC programming.
