BVA Bears IT Solutions is seeking an SAP BRIM -UX Designer to work in the Middletown, PA area. This is a full-time position with at least 2 days on-site and
possibly 3 days remote.
The SAP BRIM -UX Designer crafts intuitive, Fiori-first user experiences for SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM) solutions and related SAP S/4HANA components. Working closely with BRIM SMEs, functional consultants, developers, trainers, and business stakeholders, the designer translates complex, high-volume billing processes into clear interaction patterns, prototypes, and production-ready specs across Subscription Order Management (SOM), Convergent Invoicing (CI), Convergent Charging (CC), and integrated systems (CRM, payment gateways, mediation/usage capture). The role ensures designs meet accessibility (WCAG), security, and compliance (PCI DSS, SOC1/SOC2) requirements and are documented for audit readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design end-to-end workflows and screens for SAP BRIM processes (SOM, CI, CC) using SAP Fiori design guidelines; recommend standard features to reduce customization.
  • Produce wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI specs; author acceptance criteria and UX stories in Azure DevOps (ADO).
  • Collaborate with SMEs to model high-volume, consumption-based billing journeys (rating, invoicing, disputes, payments) and error states across integrations (CRM, payment gateways, mediation/usage capture).
  • Contribute to and maintain a design system: components, patterns, accessibility rules, and documentation aligned to organizational standards.
  • Run design reviews and incorporate feedback from SIT/UAT; iterate designs based on usability findings and operational constraints.
  • Partner with developers to ensure feasibility and fidelity; provide redlines, UI assets, and interaction specs for Fiori apps.
  • Ensure UX deliverables reflect compliance and security controls (PCI DSS, SOC1/SOC2), including tokenization flows and role-based access implications.
  • Support training and change management with UX walkthroughs, job aids, and visual guides; coordinate with trainers to align materials with released features.
  • Track UX outcomes (task success, efficiency, satisfaction) and report trends; contribute to release readiness assessments.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation in approved repositories (ServiceNow, SharePoint) including design decisions, specs, and usability evidence.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Design, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 4+ years of UX/UI experience for enterprise systems; 1-2+ years designing for SAP or comparable ERP platforms.
  • Hands-on experience designing SAP Fiori applications and familiarity with SAP BRIM domains (SOM, CI, CC).
  • Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe XD) and documentation tools (Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Experience capturing requirements, writing UX specs, and managing work in Azure DevOps or JIRA; strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of payment gateway integrations, tokenization, and secure payment flows (PCI DSS); awareness of SOC1/SOC2 controls impacting UX.
  • Familiarity with SAP BTP, event-driven architecture, and API management from a UX perspective (error handling, resilience, observability).
  • Experience supporting data migration/cutover scenarios (delta loads) with UX considerations for reconciliation and dispute workflows.
  • Background in Hybrid Agile methodologies; ability to run design sprints and collaborate in CI/CD environments.
  • Portfolio demonstrating enterprise UX outcomes and measurable improvements; SAP-related certifications are a plus.

U.S. Citizenship Requirement:
This position is restricted to U.S. citizens only in accordance with federal contract requirements. Applicants must provide proof of U.S. citizenship (such as a U.S. passport, birth certificate, or Certificate of Naturalization) prior to employment. Non-citizens, including lawful permanent residents (Green Card holders), are not eligible for this role.
