Job Summary:
ShiftCode Analytics, Inc. is seeking an experienced SAP Security Engineer to support a large-scale SAP S/4 upgrade and enterprise SAP security initiatives. The role involves supporting project-based upgrade activities and day-to-day SAP security operations across a complex enterprise environment.
Responsibilities:
• Support SAP upgrade, enhancement, and integration initiatives with a focus on SAP Security and access controls
• Design, build, and maintain SAP roles, profiles, authorizations, and security objects
• Analyze and remediate security impacts introduced through SAP technical upgrades
• Support SAP security administration across enterprise SAP environments
• Assist with regression testing, role validation, and deployment activities related to SAP upgrades
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to align SAP security requirements with business processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP security-related issues and production incidents
• Support transport management, security governance, and change control processes
• Maintain documentation related to SAP security processes, roles, and procedures
• Participate in both operational support work and project-driven security initiatives within a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of IT or cybersecurity experience with strong SAP Security administration experience
• Experience supporting SAP technical upgrades, implementations, or enhancement projects
• Experience with SAP role-based security models, authorizations, and access controls
• Ability to support SAP security operations, troubleshooting, and compliance activities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills within enterprise environments
• Experience supporting any combination of the following technologies: SAP ECC, SAP Fiori, SAP CAR, SAP S/4HANA upgrade initiatives, SAP Security & Authorizations, SAP BW/BI, SAP HANA, SAP Solution Manager, SAP SLT
Preferred:
• SAP GRC Access Control experience
• ITGC or audit/compliance experience
• Experience within large enterprise retail, manufacturing, logistics, or utility environments
• Experience supporting enterprise SAP transformation or migration initiatives
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
