Job description


Bristlecone Inc. seeks an experienced Senior Manager to drive end-to-end SAP S/4HANA project delivery across a worldwide portfolio. The role demands mastery of Fixed Price, Milestone-based, and Time & Materials contracts, ensuring seamless integration, risk mitigation, and value realization while acting as a trusted advisor to both technical teams and C-suite stakeholders.
Responsibilities
  • Own full lifecycle delivery of complex SAP S/4HANA projects across multiple geographies and commercial models.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, schedules, and resource allocations aligned with client objectives.
  • Serve as primary liaison between technical delivery teams, functional consultants, and executive sponsors.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies proactively.
  • Drive governance, reporting, and performance metrics to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations, facilitate decision-making, and communicate status to senior leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual terms, quality standards, and Bristlecone's delivery methodology.
  • Mentor and develop junior project managers and delivery staff within the SAP PM competency.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives and best practices across the delivery organization.
  • Collaborate with sales and solution architects to shape proposals and scope for future engagements.

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of SAP project management experience, with at least 5 years on S/4HANA implementations.
  • Proven track record delivering large-scale, global SAP projects under Fixed Price, Milestone, and T&M contracts.
  • Strong understanding of SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) processes and integration points.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification; SAP Activate methodology expertise preferred.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with senior executives and technical teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional, multicultural teams across multiple time zones.
  • Solid financial acumen: budgeting, forecasting, and profitability management.
  • Experience with change management, stakeholder engagement, and governance frameworks.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; MBA a plus.
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 30% of the time.
