Job description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Production Planning (PP) Solution Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP Production Planning solutions within SAP S/4HANA and ECC environments. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in manufacturing processes, SAP PP configuration, solution architecture, and cross-functional integration with other SAP modules. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership to deliver scalable, high-quality manufacturing solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the solution architecture, design, and implementation of SAP Production Planning (PP) solutions.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP manufacturing solutions.
  • Design end-to-end business processes covering production planning, manufacturing execution, and production scheduling.
  • Configure and optimize SAP PP processes, including:
    • Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
    • Demand Management
    • Production Orders
    • Capacity Planning
    • Shop Floor Control
    • Production Scheduling
    • Bills of Material (BOM)
    • Routings
    • Work Centers
    • Production Versions
  • Lead SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, upgrade, and rollout projects.
  • Design and implement integration between SAP PP and other SAP modules, including MM, SD, QM, PM, WM/EWM, and PP/DS.
  • Conduct solution workshops, fit-gap analysis, and business process design sessions.
  • Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with ABAP developers on custom developments and enhancements.
  • Support data migration, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), cutover planning, and go-live activities.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide post-go-live support.
  • Mentor functional consultants and provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure solutions follow SAP best practices and enterprise architecture standards.
