Job Description
Solution Architect Director We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA PPDS Consultant to implement, support, and optimize production planning and detailed scheduling solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate manufacturing requirements into scalable SAP PPDS solutions, ensuring seamless integration across the SAP landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement, configure, and support SAP S/4HANA PPDS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling) solutions across client environments.
- Implement, configure and support Production Planning and Quality management in SAP S/4HANA environment.
- Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document manufacturing and production planning requirements.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical SAP PPDS solutions aligned with best practices.
- Design, document, and maintain functional and technical specifications, process flows, and solution architecture.
- Configure and customize SAP PPDS functionalities including production planning, capacity planning, and detailed scheduling.
- Ensure seamless integration of PPDS with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and WM.
- Support system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and production go live activities.
- Perform root-cause analysis and troubleshoot system issues to ensure optimal performance and system stability.
- Provide end-user training, documentation, and post go live support.
- Work independently as well as collaboratively within cross functional and global delivery teams.
Required Qualifications
- Overall 6+ experience in SAP PP/QM.
- Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA PPDS.
- Proven experience in SAP PPDS implementation and support projects.
- Proven Experience in migrating Legacy planning tools to SAP S/4HANA.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing, production planning, and scheduling processes.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in both independent and team-based environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and business stakeholders.
