Job description

  • Develop, hire, and train material supervisors and managers to maintain optimum inventory levels
  • Ensure National Standard practices are followed for all material functions
  • Manage the rollout of Kitting Standards and maintain process controls
  • Assess cost savings regarding intercompany transfers
  • Maintain pallet capacity for inventory warehouse standards
  • Analyze cost savings from buying in bulk and work with Purchasing to improve processes
  • Maintain cycle-counting practices, end-of-month and quarterly counts, and audits
  • Analyze obsolete and expired inventory
  • Strategize optimum labor needs by site
  • Conduct monthly site and quarterly site reviews
  • Plan storage requirements for new products
  • Align all facilities to National Standards for Raw Material Management
  • Manage raw material orders and inventory in support of Production
  • Report to the Executive Director, Production
Requirements
  • 3+ years' experience in related management experience
  • Ability to lead teams
  • Preferred familiarity with SAP / NAV / Dutchie systems
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Detail-oriented with critical thinking skills
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Flexibility of hours
  • Ability to travel monthly
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
