Job description

Job Title: Senior SAP FICO Consultant 

Location: Houston, TX (Onsite)

Duration: Long term

Job Summary:

We are looking for SAP FICO Consultant with strong expertise in Group Reporting. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in SAP Finance and Controlling modules, with a strong preference for experience in the manufacturing, chemical, or oil & gas industries. This is a hybrid onsite role, so the candidate must be local to Houston and willing to be onsite at least 3 days a week, requiring close collaboration with finance, IT, and operational stakeholders.

  • Lead and support the implementation and optimization of SAP FICO modules, with a focus on Group Reporting (SAP S/4HANA).
  • Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into SAP FICO solutions.
  • Configure SAP FICO modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, CO-PA, CO-PC, etc.) and ensure alignment with best practices.
  • Work closely with finance teams to ensure accurate data mapping, intercompany eliminations, and reporting hierarchies.
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
  • Provide day-to-day production support and resolve issues promptly.
  • Conduct user training and prepare documentation for implemented solutions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, PP) to ensure seamless process integration. 
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO implementations/support.
  • 2+ years of direct experience with SAP Group Reporting in S/4HANA.
  • Proven ability to deliver financial consolidation and reporting solutions in SAP.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes in manufacturing, chemical, or oil & gas environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
