The Opportunity:

The Sr. Specialist – IT SAP Supply Chain (MM) position is primarily responsible for supporting the SAP S4 Materials Management module for users with in-depth expertise in SAP MM, WM and IM areas. Perform system support and analysis and design for SAP and other IT solutions to support procure to pay processes. Knowledgeable and experience with other modules such as LE, IM, WM, QM & PP, along with the corresponding business processes and related project implementation. The candidate will use in-depth analysis skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to implement effective solutions and provide support services to end users. Additional responsibilities include managing the development and maintenance of system documentation, procedures, and standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Key member of the Supply Chain configuration team responsible for the functional design, configuration, and validation of the SAP solution supporting logistics modules in an engineer to order environment.
  • Ability to work on enterprise solutions and support legacy innovation challenges
  • Collaborate with other teams responsible for related functional areas Finance to Manage (FICO), Order to Cash (SD), Warehouse Management (WM), Plant Maintenance (PM) and Technical teams (Basis, Security, Development, Integration)
  • Work with IT and business resources to perform testing of solutions, including preparation of test scenarios and scripts
  • Log issues and maintain status in issue tracking system for prioritizing work and reporting status
  • Analyze and document as-is processes and systems, determine gaps and define to-be processes and systems
  • Assess break/fix, maintenance and enhancement requests for feasibility and scope of solution
  • Work with business resources to understand needs, document solution requirements and coordinate with technical team for solution design
  • Provide assessment of solution options with associated business and technology impact, along with estimates for delivery
  • Opportunity to complete a holistic solution by defining functional design gaps and solutions for objects to add to the system.
  • Facilitate training sessions for the users where appropriate.
  • Ensure appropriate support and new development documentation is followed (i.e. scope, design, test plans, issues and cutover lists, project plans).
  • Demonstrate effective team skills with strong oral and written communications and deliverables.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent work experience.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years in the Information technology area with minimum: 
    • 5 years hands on SAP experience designing and implementing SAP MM (Materials Management), WM (Warehouse Management, IM (Inventory Management) and VIM (Vendor Invoice Management)
    • 5 years hands on SAP experience on integration with MM/PP-PI/LE, MM/PM/LE and MRP and BRF+ 
  • Previous experience in Midstream Oil & Gas industry is a plus.
  • SAP Certification is a plus.
  • Must have full Lifecycle SAP Implementations with experience in the integration of MM/IM/WM/PP-PI/QM/LE and PM.
  • Hands on experience with S/4 HANA.
  • Experience with interfaces using SAP BTP.
  • Knowledge of Inter-company/Intra-company STO process.
  • Must have a good understands SAP best-practices, business processes, operational procedures and the integration between FI-PP-PM-MM-WM-IM-QM-SD-LE Modules.
  • Understand technical architecture and use of solutions such as Fiori.
  • Experience defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadline.
  • Ability to perform configuration, debugging and enhancement design for solutions.
  • Familiarity with SDLC processes such as Agile, Waterfall etc.
  • Strong tracking, coordination and project planning skills.
  • Able to follow change management procedures and internal guidelines.
  • Demonstrated initiative with commitment and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while still maintaining high quality standards.
  • Elicit, communicate and manage solution requirements.
  • Quickly understand business needs and translate that understanding into solutions, including identifying opportunities for process and system performance.
  • Must have demonstrated strong desire to excel and be committed to building eminence.
