Reporting Developer II - SAP BW/BO in GAC Savannah
Unique Skills:
Required Skills
Hands on experience in HANA CDS views used for BW extraction.
Knowledge of SAP BW on HANA, including development experience of ADSO, Transformations, DTPs, Composite Provider, and BEx Query using BW Modeling Tools in HANA Studio.
Experience in creating data models to consume data from SAP and non-SAP source systems to create Static Reports, Dynamic, Interactive & Real Time Reports.
Ability to write efficient ABAP code in SAP BW Transformations, and BW extractor routines.
Knowledge in SAP HANA Modeling, define Object level and Data level security.
Design and development skills in SAP Business Objects BI development and SAP Analysis for Office.
Proficient in SAP BusinessObjects Universe design and data modeling.
3 or more years' experience with SAP reporting tools (BW, Business Objects)
Preferred:
5 or more years experience with SAP reporting tools (BW, Business Objects)
Functional knowledge of SAP Inventory Management, including Material Movements, Inventory Snapshots using MATDOC.
Functional knowledge of SAP Finance experience working with ACDOCA and related BW extractors.
Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or relevant curriculum required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 3 years relevant business/technical experience. Master's Degree may be used to offset one (1) year of experience; PhD may offset two (2) years of experience.
Position Purpose:
This is a data and analytics development role within the Gulfstream Business Technology organization for the Enterprise Reporting team. This role directly supports the suite of Gulfstream Enterprise Reporting applications. Responsible for developing requirements, solution development, testing, deployment, and support of enterprise reporting solutions.
Job Description
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
  1. Engages stakeholders and technology users in identifying, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
  2. Assists with defining test conditions and comprehensive test plans.
  3. Ensures applications processes are followed consistently and are in compliance with applicable policies, procedures, standards, etc.
  4. Performs normal administration tasks and system maintenance for reporting and data analytics applications and solutions.
  5. Under general supervision prepares requirements, specifications, and business process maps.
  6. Documents, develops, tests, deploys, and supports reporting and data analytics development using a variety of technical tools in support of business requirements.

Additional Functions:
  1. Conducts briefings and participates in technical meetings concerning specific projects or other activities. .
  2. Participates in design reviews for implementation projects. .

Perform other duties as assigned.
Other Requirements:
  1. Demonstrated understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies (SDLC).
  2. Experience in conducting testing including design and execution of test cases.
  3. Demonstrated capability to understand data structures and create effective visualizations and reports that drive business insight and value.
