Job description
Domain: Retail / Supply Chain
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with SAP BTP, Integration Suite/CPI, APIs, Cloud Connector, CAP/RAP, Fiori/UI5, and S/4HANA integrations, along with experience supporting enterprise-grade production environments.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement applications and extensions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
- Develop side-by-side extensions for SAP S/4HANA following SAP clean-core principles.
- Design and implement integrations using SAP Integration Suite / Cloud Integration (CPI).
- Develop and consume REST, SOAP and OData APIs for SAP and non-SAP system integrations.
- Configure and support SAP Cloud Connector for secure connectivity between BTP and on-premise SAP environments.
- Develop applications and services using CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model), RAP, Java and/or Node.js.
- Develop and enhance user-facing applications using SAP Fiori/UI5 and Fiori Elements.
- Work with SAP HANA Cloud, CDS views, data models and related BTP data services.
- Configure and manage BTP subaccounts, destinations, connectivity, services, roles and authorizations.
- Work with Cloud Foundry environments and exposure to Kyma/Kubernetes where applicable.
- Design secure authentication and authorization solutions using BTP security capabilities.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for BTP applications and integrations using Git-based DevOps practices.
- Monitor BTP applications, integrations and APIs and troubleshoot production issues.
- Support integrations across S/4HANA, retail, supply chain, inventory, merchandising, warehouse, e-commerce and other enterprise platforms.
- Collaborate with SAP Basis, Security, Functional, Integration, Data and Infrastructure teams.
- Participate in architecture reviews and ensure solutions meet scalability, security, performance and supportability standards.
- Prepare technical design documents, deployment documentation, SOPs and knowledge-transfer materials.
- Provide production support and perform root-cause analysis for critical application and integration issues.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP BTP
- Strong experience with SAP Integration Suite / CPI
- Hands-on SAP Cloud Connector experience
- Strong experience with REST, SOAP, OData and API integrations
- Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA with BTP
- Experience with CAP and/or RAP
- Development experience using Java and/or Node.js
- Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 / Fiori Elements
- Experience with Cloud Foundry
- Knowledge of SAP HANA Cloud, CDS and data modeling
- Experience with BTP security, roles, destinations and connectivity
